Arimidex Picutres | Pictures Of Arimidex
Arimidex is a selective non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, preventing the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. The therapeutic use for this drug is in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer in women, which has not been halted with Nolvadex (tamoxifen) therapy. Athletes use this drug to halt the conversion of testosterone to estrogen during and after a cycle. Notice, though, that this is an aromatase inhibitor. This means that it stops the conversion to estrogen rather than acting as a receptor antagonist as Nolvadex and Clomid (clomiphene) do. Anastrozole is thus more effective when used during a cycle, particularly through the latter half of it, and as adjunct to Clomid in post cycle. This drug is contraindicated by the manufacturer and should NOT be used at the same time as Nolvadex, as the latter lowers blood plasma levels of anastrozole. Arimidex pictures:
